Realistic simulation engine + fantastic (or crazy) surreal tracks = this game.
Realistic simulation engine + fantastic (or crazy) surreal tracks = this game.
Great game as always, and a veery respectable price
This is a very cool and nice game. But what I noticed is that I go through obstacles
This racing simulation is unforgiving but thats why its just that good. The camera system could use some more thought, the circle view should be a looser chase view (à la Real Racing 3) and then maybe chase could go away. (I understand these view modes are more useful in replays and HUD should really be used for racing). Chase and circle view should have an odometer at least. The car models need a lot of work they are way too narrow, tall and high off the ground. The track editor is simple and powerful, the procedural terrains are perfect, cant wait for a city mode (we can see the x-plane 10 terrain tech at work I think). Hopefully you will read this Austin; we need this game on Mac, the stradale-io setup works but AirServer broadcasts the screen in vertical on the mac, its impossible to play. Truthfully you havent much in the way os specific ui so please give us a binary for OS X. Thanks for all the software!
I want to play this game so badly! I was willing to buy it just from seeing the screenshots, but It looks like its for iphone 6 only.
The loading ! Agh!! Why is it so long ? Just keep the map loaded and restart the car from the beginning:o cant you:/ ?
Real racing-rally world because of wonderful drive physics and perfect tilt steering control. Thank you Austin for your perfect work. I like X-Plane too, very much.
The game is "free", but I could not launch even a single game without being asked to purchase something. Somebody needs to grow up.
Even fart apps are better than this....expected a lot from a developer that created x-plane... But it is really the worst thing in the entire store!!!
From X-plane creator you would expect the best and here it is! But no five star because: - no iPad version! - you always need to start from the beginning - no multi-lap!
Try it and if you are a driver... There is no competition. You, the car, and the track!
This game needs touch controls then it would be better then five stars
I gave you a 5 star rating because its a good game but it needs to be compatible with iPod 5s and that stuff also needs work on graphics but its a great game
A lot of fun
Being an X-Plane user for some time, I am pleasantly surprised to see something like this coming from Austin. Despite some of the IAP cars, I believe it is worth it. Stradale is a superb simulation of racing and driving physics. Of all the racing games I played on mobile devices this truly is the most stunning and stands out the most. One thing I would like to see in the future is support on computers and third-party add-on development just like X-Plane. Keep up the great work!
This is one SERIOUS racing simulation! The physics are utterly amazing, and just beyond belief! I connected my USB steering wheel, and pedals to the iPad version if this and was just blown-away by the fidelity of the simulation! The regular iPhone and iPad tilting steers pretty well also, but you have to turn the traction control on otherwise its a bit much to control. Not a cheap game: Serious gear-heads only are going to buy the cars, and its really worth it.
This driving simulator pushes the limit of ipad and has some of the best graphics I have seen on the device. Frame rates are stunning. Calibration settings make the driving experience very immersive. Driving dynamics feel extremely realistic. I may have to go out and buy a wheel and pedals now.
This is an awesome car sim with amazing track designs! Each car needs to be purchased to use but all tracks are open once you buy at least one car. Its a challenge to say the least!
Whats the point of even downloading when you immediately have to pay for IAP. Just put a price on the game. Greed is all too well infesting developers.
Quality simulation that is fun an challenging. But the purchase system is fouled. There are lots of (incomplete) tracks, all of which are available from the first time you launch the sim, but only if you buy the cars to drive them. There are four base car models with roughly three variations each, none of which have a virtual cockpit. Buying one variation of the each of the four available cars will run you $23-29. More than that, the prices dont even appear to be present in sim. So if you hit "buy" and enter your password, you might be unknowingly dropping up to $12 on a single car if you forgot to check the in-app prices as they are listed in the App Store. Be your own judge, but practices are a little too shady for me to support. The test drives were fun, but into the trash it goes.
